A few tanks a refinery and a pair of rigs and power generators is going to get you close to 4k steel on its own and I am in the jungle so I needed to set up quite a bit of AC and that also ate a lot of metal. Particularly Rimfeller to get power you need to dig a well that is 120 steel and then the drilling process is like 250 more then you need a refinery that is 240 and tanks for both fuel and oil at 100 each and a power generator is like 800. Out of curiosity, what needs all that steel while you haven't gotten to where you can easily do a caravan?Īlso, did you dig into hills to see if there was steel in there? you can also go the drug route and just buy it.
